At Azura, our employees are always searching for ways to go ABOVE & BEYOND.
In 2018 the Azura Employee Foundation (AEF) was formed to focus on providing charitable giving to organizations in NE Kansas. The Foundation is 100% employee-led and raises funds through employee contributions. Funding decisions are made by the Foundation’s eight-person employee committee, acting on behalf of their co-workers. Grants are funded twice a year, once in the spring and once in the winter. Each year, AEF donates nearly $20,000 to our community; and since our inception, have donated over $103,500 to community organizations.

2024 Area of Focus - Improving Our Communities
AEF has chosen to focus its efforts in 2024 on supporting the nonprofits, which provide services that improve the communities we serve.
2024 Grant Application
All applications received by the Azura Employee Foundation will be reviewed by the committee. Applications must be a nonprofit organization or community group that serves Shawnee or Johnson County and/or Topeka, Lenexa, Mission or Olathe.
We ask that funding requests not exceed $10,000. However, AEF committee retains the discretionary flexibility as to the actual amount awarded. The Foundation’s eight-member committee, acting on behalf of Azuran employees, makes funding decisions.
Funding will happen twice a year, spring and winter. Organizations receiving funds may apply again one full calendar year following receipt of their grant.
Please note: The AEF cannot fund individuals, for-profit organizations, capital projects, debt reduction, political campaigns, conference attendance requests, endowments or programs that promote religious or sectarian activities.
