What does this means? Please join us for a unique pop-up event STARTING at the CELTIC FOX, 118 SW 8th Avenue, which will include a food and wine tasting, campfires for gourmet s'mores and special transportation to take you to the top of Skyline Park.

The gates to Skyline Park, home of Burnett's Mound, will be open for our guests via our chauffeured transportation equipped with beverages and delights for our guests as we visit the highest natural point in Topeka.

Shawnee County Parks + Rec, Azura Credit Union and the Citizen Potawatomi Nation have been working together to restore this area over the past several years. As the highest point in Topeka with significant ties to our history we have been working to clean and maintain this area, so that it is here for future generations. We hope you will join us to see our beautiful city from a different point of view. 

For more than a decade the park has been closed to vehicles to drive to the top and it has also closed at sunset. We hope you will join us for this unique and limited experience of driving to the top ridge to see our city from the highest natural point in Topeka. Thank you gifts, delicious drinks, good food and gourmet s'mores will help top off the evening. 

As a result of the current forecast we will be utilizing our inclement weather plan and starting our evening at the Celtic Fox who will be hosting us. Tours will leave for Burnett's Mound at 4:30 p.m. and at 6 p.m departing from the Celtic Fox.
