These are the documents and information you’ll need to open your Azura accounts, depending on the type of business you run.
These unincorporated, informal associations may open business accounts to hold funds donated or dedicated toward a common benefit of their group.
 
Business Documents:
  • Personal identifying information for authorized signers
  • Meeting Minutes, designating account be opened and authorized signers
  • IRS document, designating EIN. Available at www.irs.gov 


A sole proprietorship account is a business account owned by an individual business owner or a married couple in business alone.
 
Business Documents:
  • Personal identifying information for authorized signers
  • IRS Document, if using an EIN instead of your social security number


An LLC is formed by one or more individuals and/or business entities through a written operating agreement. This operating agreement defines the managing members of the business.
 
Business Documents:
  • Personal identifying information for authorized signers
  • Articles of Organization, State of Kansas LLC Application
  • Operating Agreement
  • IRS Document designating the EIN, if applicable


A partnership account is held by two or more people. The partnership is registered with the Secretary of State designating them as a General Partnership, Limited Partnership or Limited Liability Partnership.
 
Business Documents:
  • Personal identifying information for authorized signers
  • Partnership Agreement, State of Kansas business entity's filings & forms
  • IRS document designating the EIN


A corporation is a formal business structure designating a variety of rights and privileges, overseen by a Board of Directors.
 
Business Documents:
  • Personal identifying information for authorized signers
  • Articles of Incorporation, must have file number stamp
  • Copy of Bylaws
  • IRS document designating the EIN
  • Meeting Minutes, specifically designating signatories on the account
