Trusted Contact Person

Crimes such as fraud and financial exploitation make it more important than ever to designate a Trusted Contact Person. This is someone Azura will contact if we're concerned that you may be experiencing fraud, a health crisis or another emergency that affects your financial affairs.

While this is optional within your estate planning, we strongly recommend you choose a trusted, reliable person who operates in your best interests. This could be a family member, friend or attorney, for example. Consider choosing multiple trusted contacts, in case your designated primary contact person is unavailable.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, NCUA and other regulatory agencies have recommended that credit unions offer a Trusted Contact program to help prevent fraud and protect consumers.
